HERZOG presents a new smart industry tool for monitoring of the milling machine HN-FF used for preparation of non-ferrous metals. The technology is based on continuous recording and evaluation of vibration and spindle torque in order to determine and predict the state of the cutting tips. This is a big step towards precise tool wear monitoring, reproducible sample preparation and effective advance maintenance planning.
