HERZOG presents a newly developed module for the production of chips especially suited for the determination of carbon, sulfur and nitrogen in steel samples by using thermal evolution methods. The integrated cylindrical cutter produces chips with a short, flat and smooth shape making handling, transport and analysis substantially easier. 

The module is fully integrated in the milling machine HS-F 1000 and can be used for manual or fully-automatic operation.
