Herzog delivers sample preparation automation for electronic scrap.

HERZOG offers quality control system for urban mining applications and recycling of electronic scrap. 

This urban mining automation provides the possibility to prepare sample bags ready for final sample preparation in the laboratory, shipment to the customer or archival storage. The samples are derived from fusion of electronic scrap with a FeS-flux in order to determine elemental composition. The main preparation steps of this system are:

crushing – milling – classification – packing.

Automatic sample preparation allows fast and uniform operation. This minimizes analytical errors introduced by the operator. Automatic sample preparation guarantees a reliable analysis of samples which is of prime importance for all contracting parties in the urban mining business.
