All advantages at a glance
Suitable for manual and automatic operation
The HBTO automatic belt drying unit enables the efficient and rapid drying of sludge-like materials such as flotation samples. The sample material can be fed manually by an operator via a funnel. Alternatively, the HBTO can be connected to a sampler in the plant so that the sample material is automatically transferred to the drying process.
Efficient material drying
After feeding, the material is spread on the belt by means of an applicator block so that a uniformly thin layer is formed. The belt continuously passes through the zone in which the IR drying units are installed, which ensure effective drying of all sample portions. At the end of the belt, the dry material is removed from the belt with a scraper. There, it can either be caught in a collecting container or transferred to the dosing station of a pneumatic plant station (optional).
Automatic transport to the laboratory
As soon as sufficient material has been collected in the dosing station of the pneumatic plant station, the material is automatically filled into a pneumatic carrier and pneumatically transported to the laboratory for further analysis. There, subsequent automatic dosing, sample preparation and analysis take place either within a robot circuit or a linear automation system.
