All advantages at a glance

Efficient gravimetric dosing

The HP-CDM enables fast and highly precise dosing of both powder and granular materials into cups. Gravimetric dosing is carried out by a screw, which ensures that the target weight is reached in a reproducible manner. For higher throughput, two cups are filled in parallel by a double dosing system. Depending on the target weight and material, up to 300 cups per hour can be processed.

Reliable and flexible cup handling

The paper cups into which the powder is filled are separated by a specially developed and extremely reliable separation mechanism. The bottom cup is released from the stack and transferred to the receiving position of the cup wheel. This process is carried out for two cups simultaneously. Sensors monitor the correct positioning of the separated cups. The cup wheel then rotates to the dosing position, where the two cups are filled. Finally, the filled cups are transferred to the rack filling module and placed in the free rack positions by means of a handling system.

The HP-CDM can be adapted to different cup shapes and material properties by means of simple mechanical modifications. This makes it possible to quickly convert the machine when using different cups.

Ergonomic operation of the machine

When developing the machine, great importance was attached to simple and ergonomic operation. After all 24 positions have been filled with measured cups, the racks are transported to a generously dimensioned output magazine. A total of 11 positions for filled racks are available on two levels. The operator removes a filled rack from the magazine. The following racks are automatically transported onwards so that a complete rack is always available for removal. An easily accessible stacking magazine can be filled by the operator with empty racks, which are then available for refilling.

The storage containers for the powdered materials are also very easy to refill. The two containers are mounted at a comfortable working height and are easy to open and close. A level sensor ensures that there is always enough material in the cups for dosing.

A high level of occupational safety

The machine is equipped with safety door switches at all relevant positions to prevent unintentional contact with the machine while it is running. The machine's intelligent control system makes it possible to quickly and easily rectify any errors that occur during operation, so that the machine can continue to run without delay. In the case of potentially harmful substances to be dosed into the cups, a dust extraction system is installed at the filling positions and the storage containers to prevent the formation of dust inside the machine.
