All advantages at a glance

Applicable for various materials

The HP- CSS is suitable to divide representatively different kind of powder material with an ingoing mass up to 15 kg. This is possible because the rejected material is continually removed from the splitter. The sub-sample size is only limited by the physical characteristics of sliding carriage speed a.o. necessary to obtain the flexibility of user defined mass specifications.

Absolute flexibility

The HP-CSS unit itself consists of a sliding carriage, which is moving above the linear-arranged tripartite sampling chamber. The outer two of these sampling chambers can be closed mechanically with a flap valve. This feature facilitates a designed flexibility to vary the number of sub-samples which can be extracted during automatic operations. The splitting parameters are recorded in different preset splitting programs stored in the software, corresponding to the characteristics of each material type processed. The desired splitting ratio can be selected.

Specially designed for representative splitting without contamination

The material transport into the splitting unit is realized by a vibration feeder, which provides a constant material flow during the splitting process. The vibration feeder is equipped with a scraper to eliminate material humps providing a steady material flow. Additionally. the material can be monitored with a flow sensor to ensure that the whole input sample has passed the splitter. The defining principle is to achieve as many increments from the sliding carriage as possible for each active sub-sample cup, reaping the greatest composite bed-blending advantage. The gap opening of each splitting chamber is 35 mm. To avoid cross-contamination between each sample, the whole splitter and connected pipes are cleaned by means of compressed air.

Variety of applications

The HP- CSS is available as a stand-alone equipment or as integral part of many machines like HP-WCSA, HP-WSA, HP-MCSA and HP-BTM.
