All advantages at a glance
Developed for dosing different additives
The HP-GID gravimetric dosing unit enables highly accurate and precise gravimetric dosing of powders up to a particle size of approx. 1000 µm. This makes the HP-GID the optimum dosing unit for additives in a variety of different sample preparation processes. The HP-GID is a fine dosing unit that uses electrically controlled pulses to enable high-precision dosing of substances in powder form from a reservoir. The reservoir is made of silicone, which allows contamination-free analysis in the vast majority of applications. The HP-GID also enables the use of numerous hygroscopic and liquid-binding substances.
Maximum accuracy and precision when dosing additives
Depending on the additives employed, the HP-GID can achieve excellent repeatability with a very low standard deviation. Depending on the material, the relative standard deviation is in the range of 0.001 %. The same applies to the accuracy of the deviation from the target weight. Depending on the application and additives used, the deviation from the target weight is in the range of 0.005 %.
Intelligent control of the dosing process
The HP-GID is connected to a precision scale in a control loop. The pulse frequency is continuously adapted to the difference to the target weight and the change in weight. This not only ensures a high speed of the dosing process, but also the necessary accuracy and precision in achieving the target weight.
Easy operation
The HP-GID is a component of various machines and units. For example, it can be found in the Powder Dosing Unit of the LiquidLab but is also used in the HAG-HF for dosing fluxes. The HP-GID offers a large storage container with a standard volume of 2000 ml. Smaller storage containers are also available. For hygroscopic materials, the storage container can optionally be equipped with a moisture trap.
