All advantages at a glance

Maximum efficiency

The HSC 650D is a double-acting jaw crusher. With its top and bottom driven moving jaws, the HSC 650D crushes most of the sample in a single pass leading to maximum efficiency in sample preparation. The HSC 650D takes grain sizes of up to 50 mm and comminutes them to 10 mm or less in a single pass.

Manual and automatic configuration

The HSC 650D is available in both a manual and an automatic version. The manual model includes an input hopper for easy and safe sample material feeding, with the processed output conveniently collectable in a receptacle.

Automatically adjustable crusher jaws

The HSC 650D-AUT automatic version of the crusher brings additional features that enhance both ergonomics and operability. One of its standout features is that the crusher jaws of the HSC 650D-AUT can be moved apart fully automatically and steplessly by means of a servomotor. This simplifies clearing the crusher in the event of a blockage, e.g., due to unsuitable sample material. In addition, moving the crushing jaws apart facilitates the cleaning of the crushing chamber.

The adjustable gap width also makes it easy to adapt the output grain size to the specification of the sample material. This can be easily managed through the machine's HMI panel or the PrepMaster software. Moreover, the adjustable gap width enables automatic adjustment of the zero point of the crushing jaws. This means that wear on the jaws due to abrasive sample material can be compensated by automatically readjusting the gap width. This leads to a significant improvement in accuracy and repeatability of the output grain size.

Intelligent sensor technology

With the help of the acceleration sensor built into the HSC 650D-AUT, the functional state of the crusher can be determined reliably. This makes it possible, for example, to carry out intelligent loading of the crusher by means of an upstream vibrating chute. Accordingly, the emptying of the HSC 650D-AUT can be automatically detected prompting the subsequent material feed. This significantly improves speed and efficiency of sample predation compared to a purely time-based process control.

The HSC 650D-AUT is available as a standalone version or can be installed in more complex systems such as the HP-WCSA crusher/splitter combination.
